RANDY MARDRUS

Mardrus’ work is a reflection of his natural talent & his lifelong devotion to creating art. Growing up in the mountainous northeast countryside, his greatest inspiration has been wildlife & the awesome beauty of nature.

After some education in art, Mardrus worked as a professional artist but had a burning desire to be on his own. He was fascinated with the properties of glass and the equally important role that light played in its appearance. He began pursuing the art of sandblasted carved glass. He started selling his unique sand carved art glass in 1987 and has been full time since 1993, enjoying great success as an accomplished artist. His work is displayed internationally in private and corporate collections by those who appreciate his style and exceptional quality. Collectors say they are fascinated by the precise details and stunning depth that seduces viewers into each piece. His art glass is all individually hand-made and sold as original or limited production pieces. Recognized as an expert with work that is among the very finest available, his art is also commissioned for specific spaces in luxury homes, mega-yachts and private aircraft, as well as commercial installations, some of which have been showcased in national magazines and an international hardcover book.
